Last week I wrote about organization. To some extent, an Ironman needs to be organized. Even if a training plan is the ONLY organized thing, a successful race day involves some sort of organization. Otherwise, you'll forget your run shoes, leave my helmet on after the bike or show up late to every practice or event.

So speaking of all those things you might need in transition here's something I do every day to keep myself organized: I set up a daily transition. I'm that nerdy girl that preps what I'm going to wear for the next day. It sure does help when the alarm sounds at 4:45a and I head to the walk in closet to get dressed for the next workout.

Most days, my transition looks like this: a bunch of black and pink clothes. This is swim > run > coffee transition.

Sometimes it looks like this in organized piles from left to right: bike > run > pilates.
