KRISTEN SHELDON
NAMNORI. IBF. REEB. PUS. ROTAG. SSADAB. If you saw these as stickers in your rearview mirror you would know that Kristen is an Ironman: she crushed her first 140.6 at B2B in 2015 and again at IMNC 2016. Then, she tackled IMTX in April 2017. She is a special agent for the FBI. She’s on Team Reeb (beer spelled backward) – a group of ordinary cyclists raising extraordinary funds for 24 Hours of Booty. Her latest hobby is prone paddle-board racing. There's a rumor that she's a great cake decorator and has an entire room dedicated to her alma mater (chomp chomp). And all of that leads to the last sticker.

ERICA CHRISTENSEN
Erica is a lifelong runner, a two-time ironman and a new mom! Since her start in triathlon, she's raced in over 30 tris and more than a handful of road races. In 2014, she took the podium in six triathlons, became the regional short course champ and she took nearly two hours off her first Beach2Battleship ironman finish time. After a year off of long-course tris due to the birth of her amazing daughter TJ, she's set to make a major comeback this year.

JENNIFER YOUNG
Jen is a lifelong athlete with a background in softball and rugby. She began her triathlon career over seven years ago. Since then, she's competed in over 20 tris - including five half irons and five ironman triathlons! In 2015-2016, she faced a year of obstacles - including knee surgery, four months on crutches and run training that didn't begin until July. But, with amazing patience, determination and steady progression, she had a half-ironman podium finish and raced IMNC in October 2016. She finished the year with another knee surgery but know her Komeback starts with a K. Her goal: Kona qualification at IMBOULDER 2018. When she's not on her bike singing U2 songs at the top of her lungs, she's teaching English at Cape Fear Community College.

ROBIN & CHRIS MILLER
This dynamic duo in Charlotte, NC have been on the team for almost three years. Not only do they swim, bike and run together, they also love to travel, check my math on swim sets and cheer for Clemson football. This year, Chris takes on 24 Hours of Booty -- a day-and-night long challenge to kick cancer's booty - for the third time. Robin is taking the ultra plunge! She faces LOUISVILLE for her first IRONMAN in October.

JESS HARTMANN
Jess is one of our all-around balanced athletes. After all, she is our resident yoga leader. But, don’t let her zen-like attitude fool you – she’s also a badass. She is a runner, triathlete, Tough Mudder, stand-up paddler and the only person I know who’s climbed to base camp on Mount Everest. This season, she took on her first marathon: Big Sur. Om!

ASHLEY JONES
Ashley started 4G training in 2015 with Team Miller. All three trained and raced Lake Logan International in the mountains of NC. A self-proclaimed girly-girl, she has developed style and speed. In the past few years, she's repeated Lake Logan, tackled the Sandling Beach 50 and finished her first long-course tri at IMNC 70.3 in October 2017 - in a grasshopper green tutu! This year she has a big goal: a sub-2:00 half marathon in a half-iron tri. You Go, Girl!

CHAD TOWNE
Chad is the Bear Grylls of 4G Multisport, aka IronBeard. He knows how to face bears on training rides, survive floods on Ironman runs, withstand bee stings on transition runs and he knows when NOT to cross a flooded road on his bike. Oh, and he'll politely tell you when not to wear those see-through bike shorts again. In true Bear Grylls fashion he is also a family man (married to Cathy and father to three beautiful children), an authentic man of faith and a great friend. In 2016, his A-Race is Mountains to Main Street and will use his skill of GUMPTION to crush the point-to-point-to-point 70.3 + 2 long course race.
Martha Russell
Martha is another of our Charlotte athletes. She is a busy professional and proud mom and a successful runner and triathlete. Her one word for 2017 is BREAKTHROUGH. She is breaking through to bigger races with IM Raleigh 70.3 this June - her first half - and IMLOU in October - her first FULL!

LEANNE GRECO
Leanne is technically not on my roster. But, my business is growing because of her referrals, her friendship and her enthusiasm. We have known each other since 1979 when she moved in down the street. If we weren't running through the woods, we were riding circles around the neighborhood on our bikes. We ran our first road race in 1980 and ran track in junior high together. She is currently in Charlotte riding circles around everyone there and giving me inside scoop on my athletes. And, though I'm not her coach, I'm older and I still try to boss her around.

MATTHEW JOHNSON
MATTHEW JOHNSON - Matt is the epitome of a 5th G: Gung-Ho. His enthusiasm, motivation and positive attitude is evident in his active life and contagious to those around him. It is what propelled him to do his first triathlon earlier this year and his most recent - Raleigh 70.3. Later this year, he'll take on the IMNC 70.3 challenge. Gung-Ho is derived from a Chinese word meaning "work together" and when he starts firing on all cylinders, the tri world better look out!
